The Alterra BE: Bank Everywhere apps allow you to:
- Pay Bills, manage accounts, and review account history
- Deposit checks from your smartphone
- Transfer funds between Alterra accounts
- Set customized alerts for accounts
- Find nearby ATMs and banking centers
- Receive account reminders

We know that there are certain banking situations in which you need person-to-person service, and we're happy to provide it. But we also know that for the day-to-day stuff, you don't need our help – you just need to get it done so you can get back to running your business, loving your family or doing whatever's most important to you. And that's where the speed and convenience of Alterra BE really shines.

Our new smsGuardian service gives cardholders an additional layer of security with the ability to receive and respond to text alerts on your mobile phone or tablet. SmsGuardian allows you to keep track of activity on your account and keep an eye out for any fraudulent charges.
SmsGuardian is easy to use; if the charge is correct you simply do nothing, if there is a fraudulent charge reply to the alert and a risk analyst will step in to review the charge. You may discontinue the receipt of alerts immediately by texting the word “STOP” in reply to a Guardian alert or to 27576. Cardholders can also unsubscribe from the service entirely through your account profile.
A few details:
- Message and data rates may apply. You are responsible for any text messaging fees from your phone or tablet service carrier
- The number of alerts received is based on your Alterra Debit Card usage. Cardholders will not receive more than one message per transaction on each enrolled card.
- If your mobile service provider is Sprint, Nextel, Boost, or Virgin, you will receive an alert every 30 days reminding you of your subscription.
- Should you need help regarding the use of the service or your account, you may reply to an alert message with the word “HELP.” You may also click on the “Service Usage Guide” link, located on your Bank Everywhere account screen, or call (888) 868-8611.
- View the Terms and Conditions of the service when you log into your account.
